Despite Yanga's complaints about the referee for the Azam Confederation Cup final match between Simba and Yanga to be played at Lake Tanganyika Stadium on Sunday, the Referees Committee has insisted that there will be no change of referee for the match as Ahmed Arajiga has been appointed since early stages
Referee Committee Chairman Soud Abdi said referee Ahmed Aragija was prepared from the earliest stages
"We have seen Yanga's complaint about referee Ahmed Arajiga having played three consecutive Simba matches in this FA Cup"
"But we as a Committee prepared him from the earliest stages. If today we are removing Arajiga because he has been complained about and replace him with another, what if other team complained as well?
"The referees who are selected I argue them to follow the 17 rules of football and the teams to come in confident the rules will be followed and the lucky one will win," said Soud
