Simba Sc midfielder Erasto Nyoni, is proud for being among the players who contributed to the team's success since joining in 2017
Last week, Simba Sc were crowned Champions of Premier League for the fourth consecutive season after a 2-0 win over Coastal Union, Nyoni being among of those players on the pitch.
The star, originally from Ruvuma , said he was proud of the achievements that set him apart from most of the local players, who despite playing for a long time, have not achieved that.
"I'm proud this record is not small even if I play at home, there are a lot of players even Europeans looking for it, but they haven't got it I think I will remain in the club records for this generation we have now," said Nyoni </ p>
The midfielder said the secret of the success is the good support he receives from the leadership of Simba Sc promising to continue to fight for the success of the team, which is determined to be among the best clubs in Africa.
He said playing in the quarter-finals of the Champions League twice showed how well Simba Sc had planned to succeed, next season they may go further depending on the improvement that will be made to the squad.
Despite of his success with Simba, one of his goals is to retire from football and give Simba the Champions League troph and he believes that is possible
Other players who join Nyoni in Simba's success for four consecutive seasons include goalkeeper Aishi Manula, Shomari Kapombe and their captain, John Bocco who all joined the team from Azam FC
There are also Jonas Mkude and Said Khamisi Ndemla who have been part of the team for more than eight years
