Simba Queens coach Mussa Hassan 'Mgosi' has said they are ready for the tournament and preparations for the trip have been completed. They expected to leave the country between Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the results of the COVID-19
"Our plans to go to Kenya too early to get used to the weather because we have heard it is very cold, so our plans are to leave here on Tuesday if the COVID 19 tests come out, if it is delayed we can leave on Wednesday," said Mgosi. ."We are well prepared and we have already seen and received information from our opponents who we are in our group, we hope to go and do well and make sure we are among the teams that will go to Egypt"
He said according to their preparations, they are going to Kenya to fight in every match to do well and achieve their goal of being one of the teams that will go to Egypt to participate in the African Women's Champions League.
Simba Queens has been drawn in Group A with the Lady Doves WFC Champions League of Uganda and PVP FC of Burundi, who will take part in the tournament which starts on July 17 in Kenya.
