After helping Simba win the Mainland Premier League title, striker Chris Mugalu, has said his biggest dream is to emerge as the league's top scorer.
Mugalu ranks third on the list of scorers ranking with 13 goals. Prince Dube of Azam second with 14 goals, Simba captain John Bocco leading the way with 15 goals
The DR Congo striker has expressed his happiness after helping Simba Sc to defend their Premier League title but will be even happier if they do so in the FA Cup with him personally emerging as the top scorer.
"It's my first season playing in the Tanzanian league but I'm happy to see I've done well in partnership with my teammates, what I want right now after winning the league title is to be the best scorer," said Mugalu
In addition, Mugalu commended Simba's leadership for making a good recruitment that has made the team better from othes participating in the domestic championships and that is the main factor that contributed to the success
He is happy with the competition in the league and even within Simba Sc team and will make sure he continues to fight to the faith of coach Didier Gomes
Mugalu has a good scoring average in the league compared to his competitors
Having played just 17 matches, he has scored 13 goals and two assists
Bocco has scored 15 goals and one assist in 22 games while Dube has scored 14 goals in 21 games
