Simba Announce Ticket Prices for 15 de Agosto Return Leg as Ahmed Ally Urges Fans to Fill Uhuru Stadium

Simba SC have announced ticket prices for their CAF Champions League return-leg clash against Equatorial Guinea’s 15 de Agosto, urging supporters to turn out in large numbers at Uhuru Stadium on October 25, 2026.

Speaking to journalists ahead of the match, Simba SC Media and Communications Manager Ahmed Ally said the game would be played on Sunday at 4:00 p.m., emphasising the importance of fans taking note of the kick-off time.

“We have met to discuss the CAF Champions League return-leg match against 15 de Agosto, which will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Uhuru Stadium. I want to emphasise the kick-off time of 4:00 p.m., because yesterday’s match was played at 3:00 p.m.,” Ahmed Ally said.

Match Ticket Prices

Ahmed Ally announced ticket prices across three categories, explaining that all tickets would be available exclusively online.

The announced prices are as follows:

  • General Admission: TSh 5,000

  • VIP: TSh 30,000

  • Platinum: TSh 150,000

According to Ahmed, fans will be able to purchase tickets through the club’s official ticketing website, https://simbasc.wanaut.com.

He said the club had tested the system and was satisfied that it would make ticket purchases easier, eliminating the need for supporters to visit ticket outlets.

“All tickets will be sold online. We have tested this system and are satisfied that it will work well. All you need is a mobile phone to purchase a ticket,” he said.

Simba Pushes for Greater Use of Technology

The club spokesperson urged Simba supporters to embrace technological change by using the new online ticketing system, explaining that it would allow them to purchase tickets from anywhere.

He said the previous arrangement had led many fans to wait until the last day to buy tickets because of the inconvenience of travelling to ticket outlets.

“The world has changed, and at Simba Sports Club, we are forward-thinking people. We must keep up with technological changes. Now, whether you are at work, at home or on a public bus, you can buy a ticket,” Ahmed Ally said.

He also advised supporters without smartphones to seek assistance from a friend or neighbour who has one so they can purchase tickets and attend the match together.

He explained that each supporter would have an individual ticket that would be scanned at the stadium entrance.

Despite Simba being in a strong position to advance following the first-leg result, Ahmed Ally urged fans not to assume that the return fixture no longer mattered.

He said the club had many reasons to encourage supporters to attend, including congratulating the players on their hard work and giving them the recognition they deserved.

“Looking at the tie, some might feel it has lost its appeal because we have an 80 per cent chance of reaching the group stage. But Simba fans must abandon that way of thinking. We have every reason to give this match value and respect by turning up at the stadium,” he said.

He added that failing to attend could be interpreted as a lack of appreciation for the efforts Simba’s players had put in this season.

“Respect is not about posting on social media. Showing respect to our players means going to the stadium. Let us go and congratulate them. My appeal to Simba fans is that not a single seat should remain empty on October 25,” he insisted.

Simba Target African Scoring Record

Beyond congratulating the players, Ahmed said another reason for fans to attend was to inspire the team to achieve an impressive record in qualifying for the CAF Champions League group stage.

He said Simba had scored six goals so far in their qualifying campaign, adding that the club wanted to increase its tally and make its mark in the competition.

“Let us go and create a record in African football by qualifying. If possible, let us even qualify with 16 goals,” Ahmed Ally said.

He added that Uhuru Stadium has a capacity of only 18,000 spectators, making strong fan attendance important to create the atmosphere the match deserves.
