The first-leg match between 15 de Agosto and Simba in the battle to qualify for the CAF Champions League group stage has been postponed by one day. The match will now be played on October 21 at Uhuru Stadium, kicking off at 3:00 p.m.
Simba's Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, confirmed the change, explaining that 15 de Agosto had requested the adjustment from CAF after failing to secure a flight that would bring the team to Tanzania in time.
Furthermore, the match will be played behind closed doors, with 15 de Agosto maintaining its position that it does not want fans admitted to the stadium.
The second-leg match will be played at the same venue on October 25, with Simba serving as the home team. Fans are expected to attend and watch the encounter.
