The first-leg clash between Equatorial Guinea’s 15 de Agosto and Simba, as they battle for a place in the CAF Champions League group stage, could be played at Uhuru Stadium.
Information from a reliable source has confirmed that 15 de Agosto are being forced to look for an alternative venue because their home country does not have a stadium that meets CAF requirements.
The team had initially planned to host Simba in Cameroon, but reports indicate that challenges have prevented them from carrying out that plan.
15 de Agosto have been in contact with Simba officials to explore the possibility of playing both matches in Tanzania.
If the plan goes through, Simba supporters could watch both legs of the tie at Uhuru Stadium.
