The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has filled the position of Secretary General by appointing Evans Mgeusa as part of new leadership changes made by the federation’s Executive Committee.
The decision was reached during a meeting of the TFF Executive Committee held in Dar es Salaam under the leadership of the federation’s president, Wallace Karia.
Mgeusa takes over the position from Oscar Mirambo, who had been serving as acting Secretary General and has now been assigned a new role within TFF.
Before his appointment, Mgeusa was Chairman of the Njombe Regional Football Association (NIOREFA), and he will now oversee the executive operations of the TFF secretariat.
As part of the changes, Mirambo has been appointed Deputy Secretary General and Director of Football Development, while Mustapha Yusuph has been appointed the new Director of Finance.
TFF has also made changes to several directorial positions, with the Legal, Information and Marketing Directorate being split into three separate directorates.
Hassan Njama has been appointed Director of Commercial and Marketing, Boniface Wambura has been appointed Director of Legal Affairs, while Cliford Ndimbo has been appointed Director of Information and Communications.
