The Simba squad have arrived in South Africa early today for a 10-day training camp.
The Reds of Msimbazi will be based in the city of Polokwane under the technical bench led by head coach Steve Barker.
Simba left Dar es Salaam early today with a large number of local players, while some of the club’s foreign stars were expected to join the team in South Africa.
Players such as Nao Maema and Rushine de Reuck, along with coach Barker and his technical staff, have had an easier transition as they were already in South Africa for their break after the league was suspended for the FIFA calendar.
All players who have no national team commitments will be part of the special training camp.
While in South Africa, Simba are expected to play two major and competitive friendly matches as part of their strategy to prepare the squad for the demands of the domestic league and international competitions after the FIFA break.
