Simba head coach Steve Barker has praised the performances of versatile Nathaniel Chilambo, whose tactical role in the Msimbazi Reds' setup has been difficult to define.
Barker says he uses Chilambo strategically, with the most important thing being the player's ability to carry out the responsibilities assigned to him effectively.
"I can't say exactly what position he plays, but I am very pleased with what he does on the pitch. He is a really good player and has given us a lot of strength."
"He has been having a good time, and I am happy to see him making good use of the opportunities he gets in the team," Barker said.
Under Barker, Chilambo is often deployed as a left-back, but when Simba are in possession, he frequently moves into a defensive midfield role and at times pushes forward to support attacks.
In yesterday's match against Geita Gold, Chilambo played a key role in the second goal, initiating the attack before eventually providing the assist for Libasse Gueye to find the back of the net.
