It is another day of entertainment for Simba fans, as the Msimbazi Reds prepare to take on Geita Gold at Isamuhyo Stadium.
The fifth-round NBC Premier League encounter is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., with Simba determined to maintain their perfect winning record this season.
It will be Simba's second home match of the season following their 1-0 victory over Coastal Union in their previous fixture.
Coach Steve Barker's players will take to the Isamuhyo pitch knowing that Simba fans are demanding the league title after missing out on it for the past five seasons.
As a result, nothing less than victory will be acceptable in every match as Simba look to establish an early advantage in the title race.
Although Geita Gold are newcomers to the Premier League, they have made a positive start to the season, losing just once, winning two matches and drawing one.
They secured a 2-2 draw against Azam FC in their previous match, showing that they are not a side to be taken lightly.
However, they face a Simba side that have established an impressive record at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium. Since first using the venue last season, the Msimbazi Reds have remained unbeaten there.
Simba head coach Steve Barker will also use the match as part of his squad's preparations before travelling to Malawi to begin their CAF Champions League preliminary-round campaign against Mighty Wanderers.
