Simba SC Communications and Media Manager Ahmed Ally has provided an update on the injury situation within the squad, saying the club is still waiting for the medical team’s report to obtain a full assessment of the players currently dealing with injuries.
Ahmed said some players continue to struggle with injuries, with Yusuph Kagoma and Nickson Kibabage among those being closely monitored by the technical staff and medical team.
According to Ahmed, there are also other players who have continued playing despite carrying injuries.
Addressing the injury situation, Ahmed said the club is awaiting the doctors’ assessments before providing detailed information on how long each player is expected to remain sidelined.
He Opens Up on Kante
Aside from the injury situation, Ahmed Ally also discussed the future of midfielder Alassane Kante at Simba SC.
He said Kante remains a registered Simba player under contract with the club, while revealing that internal plans are currently being discussed regarding the midfielder’s future.
Ahmed said the club will provide further updates once the relevant procedures are completed, urging fans to wait for an official announcement from Simba.
Kante has returned to the Simba squad and is taking part in training programmes. However, he was not included in the Reds of Msimbazi’s registration.
