Simba SC striker Baraka Mwangosi has joined Polisi Tanzania on a season-long loan after failing to secure a place in the Simba squad.
Mwangosi joined Simba during the January 2026 transfer window from Mbeya City but was not part of head coach Steve Barker's plans.
Reports indicate that while Simba were working on the signing of Ismail Mgunda, Mashujaa FC's management submitted a request to sign Mwangosi on loan. However, the striker opted to join Polisi Tanzania instead.
Simba's decision to send Mwangosi out on loan is expected to give him more playing time, while the club will continue monitoring his progress before he returns to the team.
During the latest transfer window, Simba strengthened their attack with the additions of two strikers, Ibrahim Doumbia and Mgunda, who arrived at Msimbazi just days before the transfer window closed.
