Simba attacking midfielder Libasse Gueye claimed his second consecutive Man of the Match award after their NBC Premier League victory over Pamba Jiji at CCM Kirumba Stadium yesterday.
Gueye played a key role in Simba’s victory, providing a direct assist for Anicet Oura’s second goal, while his free-kick beat Pamba Jiji goalkeeper before reaching Clatous Chama, who finished it into the net.
It was Gueye’s second consecutive Man of the Match award, having also received the honour in Simba’s previous match against Kagera Sugar, where he provided assists for both goals in their 2-0 victory.
Gueye has now registered three assists in two matches while already having two Man of the Match awards to his name.
