Simba SC are in the final stages of completing the signing of JKT Tanzania striker Paul Peter Kasunda, 27.
Reports indicate that Kasunda has already agreed personal terms with Simba, with the Msimbazi Reds' management now finalising negotiations with JKT Tanzania before officially unveiling the striker as their new player.
Kasunda's signing would provide another addition to Simba's attacking department, following the club's recent capture of Ismail Mgunda from Mashujaa FC.
If everything goes according to plan, Simba will complete Kasunda's signing one day before the transfer window closes.
Kasunda arrives at Simba with an impressive record from last season, when he scored eight goals for JKT Tanzania, a record that reportedly caught the attention of the club's management.
Simba's decision to pursue Kasunda comes after the club failed to complete a deal for Senegalese striker Pape Abdou Nβdiaye, with reports indicating that his current club is not prepared to sell him at this time.
