The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has introduced a new ticketing system for football matches in the country, with the platform set to officially come into use ahead of the Community Shield clash between traditional rivals Simba and Yanga.
The new system is expected to be used in preparations for the highly anticipated match between Simba SC and Yanga SC on August 12, 2026, giving fans a simpler way to purchase their tickets.
New System Goes Live Today
Speaking today, TFF Information Officer Clifford Malio Ndimbo said the new system will go live from 2:00 p.m.
Ndimbo said the system has been developed to simplify the ticket purchasing process and allow fans to obtain their tickets more conveniently before heading to the stadium.
“The system is easy to use and will allow one person to purchase up to four tickets at a time,” Ndimbo said.
One Fan Can Buy Four Tickets
One of the new features of the system is the ability for a single person to purchase up to four tickets.
The move is expected to benefit fans attending matches in groups, as they will no longer need to make separate purchases for each person.
For example, one fan can complete the purchase of tickets for themselves and three other people attending the match with them.
