Simba SC have safely returned to Dar es Salaam, where the Msimbazi Reds will have two days to complete their preparations ahead of Simba Day, East Africa's biggest football entertainment festival.
Simba spent nearly two weeks in Rwanda for their pre-season training camp, with part of their preparations including participation in the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
Head coach Steve Barker used the camp to assess his squad and help the players regain full match fitness following the off-season break.
The South African tactician also had the opportunity to integrate the club's new signings into the squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
During their stay in Rwanda, Simba played four matches, including three in the Kagame Cup. They concluded the camp with a 2-0 victory over Sudan's Al Merriekh in a friendly match played yesterday.
On Saturday at Uhuru Stadium, the club will officially unveil its 2026/27 squad during the annual Simba Day celebrations.
