Former Simba SC star Emmanuel Okwi has officially announced his retirement from professional football.
Simba SC has invited Okwi to the Simba Day celebration scheduled for Saturday, August 8, at Uhuru Stadium, where supporters will have the opportunity to give him an official farewell.
The club confirmed that Okwi is among the special guests invited to the major event, which is considered one of the biggest entertainment celebrations in East and Central Africa.
"One of the special guests at Simba Day 2026 will be legend Emmanuel Okwi. It will be a special day to honourably bid farewell to him from football, while he also plays a friendly match wearing the Simba SC jersey," Simba stated.
