Simba will take to the field in Rwanda today to face Singida BS in their final group-stage match of the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
The decisive fixture, which will determine the semi-final fate of both teams, is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 p.m. local time. At the same time, Group B rivals Jamus SC and Mogadishu City will also meet in the other group match.
Mathematically, Simba still have a chance of reaching the semi-finals if they defeat Singida BS, although their qualification will also depend on the outcome of the match between Jamus SC and Mogadishu City.
If Simba win and Jamus SC lose, the Msimbazi Reds will qualify directly for the semi-finals. If Simba win and Jamus SC draw, qualification will be decided on goal difference, with the team holding the superior record advancing.
