Simba SC attacking midfielder Libasse Gueye has arrived in Rwanda to join the club's squad for the ongoing CECAFA Kagame Cup.
Gueye's arrival was delayed after Simba granted him permission to remain behind and care for his ill mother.
The Senegalese playmaker has been the subject of intense transfer speculation, with reports linking him to offers from African clubs EspΓ©rance de Tunis and MC Alger, as well as interest from clubs in the Middle East.
However, none of the offers received have matched Simba's valuation of the player, and the club has therefore not made a decision to sell him.
Simba are reportedly seeking no less than US$1 million (more than TZS 2.6 billion) before considering the sale of Gueye.
