Simba SC leadership has received with deep sadness the news of the passing of former Competitions Committee Deputy Chairman Iddi Kajuna, who died in the early hours of today at Muhimbili National Hospital.
Kajuna was appointed Deputy Chairman of the committee last year and served in the position until his death. His final official assignment was the CRDB Cup final held in Pemba on July 4 this year.
Kajuna also served as a member of the advisory council established by Simba President Mohammed Dewji.
Prior to that, Kajuna held several leadership positions at the club, including serving as Simba's Acting Vice Chairman in 2017 and as a member of the executive committee from 2014 to 2018.
He also served as a member of the Transitional Board of Directors in 2018 during the process of restructuring the club's leadership system.
The funeral prayers for the late Kajuna will be held at Maamur Mosque in Upanga, with burial scheduled to take place at Kisutu Cemetery in Dar es Salaam today at 10:00 a.m.
Simba SC leadership joins his family, relatives, friends, and the entire football community in mourning the loss of a fellow Simba member and prays to Almighty God to grant his soul eternal rest. Amen.
