Simba have included winger Ancet Oura in the squad that is set to travel to Rwanda for the CECAFA Kagame Cup, which begins on Friday, July 24.
The decision comes as welcome news for Simba supporters, as it strongly suggests that Oura will remain part of the Msimbazi Reds' squad for the upcoming season.
Simba have reportedly received offers from several European clubs interested in signing the talented winger. However, head coach Steve Barker recommended that the club retain him during the current transfer window, considering him one of the key players in his plans for the new season.
Oura joined Simba during last season's mid-season transfer window and quickly made a significant impact, finishing the campaign with six goals in the NBC Premier League.
Simba fans have high expectations for Oura and the rest of the squad as the club targets winning the Tanzania Mainland Premier League title and making a strong challenge in the CAF Champions League next season.
