The future of Simba SC attacking midfielder Anicet Oura has continued to generate uncertainty among the club's supporters.
Reports indicate that Simba have received a major offer worth approximately TSh 2 billion for the Ivorian winger, who joined the club during the mid-season transfer window.
Three European clubs are said to be interested in signing Oura: Bursaspor of Turkey, Víkingur Reykjavík of Iceland, and DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda of Slovakia. Among them, Bursaspor are reportedly the most serious contenders after tabling the substantial offer.
Simba's recent signing of Sekhukhune United attacking midfielder Keletso Makgalwa has also fueled speculation, with some analysts viewing the move as a sign that the Msimbazi-based club could be preparing to sell Oura.
Oura has been one of Simba's standout performers, contributing with his creativity, ability to link midfield and attack, and scoring crucial goals in several matches.
Because of his performances, many supporters believe his departure would be a significant loss, although Simba have already strengthened their squad by signing another highly rated winger.
Before joining Simba SC, Oura played for Finnish Premier League club IF Gnistan (Gnistan Helsinki).
He moved to Finland from South African side Stellenbosch FC, where he worked under Steve Barker, the coach who later convinced him to join Simba in Msimbazi.
