Simba SC is in negotiations with Moroccan club Wydad AC over extending striker Selemani Mwalimu's stay at the club for the 2026/27 season.
Reports indicate that Simba has already reached a personal agreement with Mwalimu regarding his future, with the striker set to remain at Msimbazi for another season.
According to transfer sources, Mwalimu has accepted the terms presented by Simba SC and has given the green light to continue representing the club for another campaign.
The discussions have now moved to the club level between Simba and Wydad AC, who own the player's rights, with the main issue under discussion being the loan fee before the deal can be officially completed.
Mwalimu joined Simba on loan from Wydad AC and has become part of the technical team's plans to strengthen the club's attacking department. In the recently concluded season, he finished as Simba's top scorer, netting 15 goals across all competitions.
