Former Simba SC midfielder Jean Charles Ahoua has become a free agent after terminating his contract with Algerian club CR Belouizdad.
Ahoua joined the club last season on a three-year contract, but both parties have reached an agreement to end their working relationship.
CR Belouizdad confirmed the decision and wished the midfielder all the best in his future career. Ahoua was the top scorer in the 2024/25 NBC Premier League season.
After enjoying a highly successful spell with Simba, Ahoua received a lucrative offer from the Algerian giants, which led to his departure at the beginning of the previous season.
Since his exit, Simba has continued to strengthen its attacking midfield department by bringing in creative players such as Clatous Chama and Neo Maema, whose future remains uncertain after his contract with Simba expired.
Simba is expected to further reinforce that area of the squad as the club aims to improve its quality ahead of the challenges of the upcoming season.
