Since taking charge of Simba SC in late December 2025, head coach Steve Barker has overseen an impressive run of form, guiding the team through 24 NBC Premier League matches without a single defeat.
Between January and June, the Msimbazi giants recorded 17 wins and 7 draws, showcasing a high level of consistency and competitive football.

One of Barker’s most notable achievements has been strengthening a previously inconsistent defensive line. Under the leadership of centre-back Rushine De Reuck and his defensive partners, Simba have become extremely difficult to break down, conceding just 7 goals in that period.
