Head coach of Simba SC, Steve Barker, says his team is fully prepared for their upcoming Mainland Premier League match against Singida BS, scheduled for tomorrow Saturday at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking during a pre-match press conference, Barker acknowledged that the game will be tough and highly competitive, but emphasized that Simba’s main objective is to secure victory in order to stay in the title race.
"We are ready for the match against Singida BS. We know it will be a difficult game because it involves two teams that are in good form," he said.
"All players are in good condition. Everyone understands our objectives. We know we cannot control other teams’ results, but our job is to win our remaining matches to stay in the title race at least until the end of the season."
"We understand the strengths and weaknesses of our opponents, and they also know what to expect from us. So the result will be decided by the team that executes its tactical plan better," Barker added.
A win for Simba would keep the “Wekundu wa Msimbazi” firmly in the title race going into the final matchday on Tuesday.
Any result other than a win could end Simba’s championship hopes, especially if rivals Yanga secure a victory against TRA United.
