Simba head coach Steve Barker has said his team arrived in Morogoro with one objective: securing victory against Mtibwa Sugar in their Premier League match scheduled for Wednesday.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of the game, which will kick off at 10:00 p.m., Barker acknowledged that the encounter will not be an easy one given Mtibwa Sugar's current situation in the league standings.
However, he stressed that his team's goal is to win the match and maintain pressure in the title race.
"Preparations for the match have gone well, and we are fully focused on making sure we win this very important game."
"We know we are going up against a team that is fighting to improve its position in the league table."
"We are ready and have high expectations of achieving victory," said Barker.
Speaking on behalf of his teammates, defender Nickson Kibabage said the squad is in good condition and fully understands the importance of winning the match in order to keep the club's objectives on track.
"As players, we are ready. Everyone understands the importance of this match. We will approach it with full concentration and follow the instructions of the technical bench to ensure we achieve a winning result," said Kibabage.
