Following the qualification of Simba SC and Azam FC for the 2025/26 CRDB Bank Federation Cup final, attention has now shifted to the venue that will host the highly anticipated match on July 4, 2026.
For the past two seasons, the final has been played in Zanzibar at New Amaan Complex. However, many football stakeholders believe this is the right time to bring the showpiece event back to Dar es Salaam, a city that has not hosted the final since the 2015/16 season.
With renovation work continuing at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, other venues such as Uhuru Stadium and Azam Complex have emerged as possible alternatives to host the match, which is expected to attract thousands of supporters.

With the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) yet to officially announce the venue for this year’s final, fans across the country are eagerly awaiting the decision that will determine which region gets the opportunity to host another historic edition of the competition.
The final promises to be a major occasion, featuring two of Tanzania’s strongest teams as Simba SC and Azam FC battle for one of the country's most prestigious domestic trophies.
