Simba SC have officially parted ways with attacking midfielder Joshua Mutale, popularly known as “Budo,” after both parties agreed to mutually terminate his contract, it has been confirmed.
Mutale becomes a free agent after completing his loan spell at Al Adalah FC in Saudi Arabia, where the club informed Simba SC that it did not intend to make his move permanent.
Although Mutale still had one year remaining on his contract with Simba SC, both sides agreed to end the agreement, allowing the player to begin a new chapter of his career as a free agent.
Mutale joined Simba SC with high expectations due to his potential, but he was ultimately unable to fully meet those expectations during his time at the club.
The midfielder is now expected to return to his former club Power Dynamos, which Simba SC signed him from two seasons ago.
