The Women’s Premier League (WPL) came to an end today with champions Simba Queens securing a convincing 3-0 victory over Geita Queens.
Having already been crowned league champions, Simba Queens entered the match with one final objective—to complete the season without suffering a defeat.
They successfully achieved that goal, finishing the campaign unbeaten after playing all 22 league matches without losing a single game.
The remarkable achievement capped off a dominant season for Simba Queens, who consistently demonstrated their quality and superiority throughout the competition.
Simba Chief Executive Officer Zubeda Sakuru congratulated the team on the outstanding record they set this season, praising the players and technical staff for their dedication and exceptional performances.
