Simba SC’s squad has been boosted by key signings brought in during the mid-season transfer window, including Libasse Gueye and Anicet Oura.
The wingers have helped make Simba a dangerous attacking side, especially on the flanks, working effectively alongside full-backs Nickson Kibabage and Shomari Kapombe.
Speaking to journalists during Simba Media Day, Gueye named Oura as the player he most admires within the squad and in the league overall.
“Inside Simba and even in the league, I really like Oura. He is a very good player. I also admire Chama (Clatous) and Rushine (De Reuck),” said Gueye.
The Senegalese winger also mentioned players he appreciates outside Simba, including Maxi Nzengeli and Allan Okello from rivals Yanga SC.
Since joining Simba in the mid-season window, Gueye has made a strong impact, scoring six goals for the Msimbazi-based club.
Clatous Chama is currently the team’s top scorer with eight goals, while Oura has netted four and Rushine De Reuck has scored three.
