Simba SC management has continued to prepare former club captain John Bocco for major responsibilities within the team in the future.
Bocco is currently serving as the head coach of Simba’s U20 side after completing his intermediate coaching education under the sponsorship of his employers, Simba SC.
He follows in the footsteps of Suleiman Matola, who is also part of Simba’s coaching setup as an assistant coach while gaining more experience before taking on full responsibilities.
Matola already holds a CAF A License, which allows him to lead Simba in all domestic matches as well as CAF competitions, including the Champions League and Confederation Cup.
Simba SC Communications Manager Ahmed Ali has stated that the club’s approach of developing its own personnel is expected to bring long-term benefits, similar to models used by successful clubs abroad.
In a post shared on social media, Ahmed Ali wrote:
