Among the affected teams is Tanzania, which was scheduled to play two friendly matches against Uganda and Rwanda as part of its preparations.
Taifa Stars had already arrived in Morocco, but following the reported suspension, the team is expected to return to Tanzania, with players set to rejoin their respective clubs.
Simba SC players Suleiman Mwalimu, Vedastus Masinde, and Nickson Kibabage were among those included in the national team squad for the trip.
If the reported situation remains unchanged, the players are likely to return home earlier than expected and rejoin their teammates who are continuing preparations for the final matches of the season later this month.
