Attacking midfielder Ladark Chasambi is among the players who have struggled to secure regular playing time under head coach Steve Barker, with Simba management now considering sending him out on loan in the upcoming transfer window.
Chasambi was signed by Simba two seasons ago with high expectations after joining from Mtibwa Sugar, where he had impressed as one of the promising young talents in the league.
However, strong competition in his position has made it difficult for him to break into the starting lineup, despite occasionally earning limited minutes in some matches.
Simba currently boast a wealth of attacking talent on the wings, including Anicet Oura, Libasse Gueye, and Elie Mpanzu, who have been rotating in those roles depending on tactical plans set by coach Barker.
Chasambi is now among the players who could be loaned out at the end of the season in order to gain more playing time and further develop his abilities.
During the previous transfer window, clubs such as KMC, JKT Tanzania, and Namungo FC reportedly showed interest in taking him on loan, but negotiations reportedly failed to meet Simba’s contractual demands.
The youngster still has one year remaining on his contract with the Msimbazi-based giants.
