Following his impressive performances since returning to Simba SC from Singida Black Stars, midfielder Clatous Chama is expected to extend his contract with the Msimbazi-based club.
When he rejoined Simba, Chama signed a one-year deal, but discussions to extend his stay by another year have now been completed.
Reports from within the Simba management confirm that the new agreement will see Chama remain at the club until 2028.
The club’s leadership moved quickly to secure the Zambian midfielder’s future before the end of the season.
Chama has been an important player for Simba since returning during the mid-season transfer window, scoring a total of seven goals across all competitions.
The Lusaka-born star has also set a record of winning man-of-the-match awards in four consecutive games.
