Kenya national team head coach Ben McCarthy has continued to show confidence in Simba SC attacking midfielder Mohamed Bajaber by including him in the Harambee Stars squad for next month’s friendly matches against Kyrgyzstan and Palestine.
Despite not featuring in competitive matches recently, this marks the second time Bajaber has been called up under McCarthy’s leadership.
Bajaber has fully recovered from injury and is now ready for national team duties while continuing his training with Simba SC.
He remains under a long-term contract with the Tanzanian giants, and depending on his progress, he could be reintegrated into the squad after the current season concludes.
Simba had previously removed him from their active registration list to allow him more time to recover from long-standing injury issues that have affected him since joining the club from Police FC in Kenya.
