Simba SC are expected to depart Dar es Salaam on Wednesday as they head to Kigoma for their Tanzanian Premier League fixture against hosts Mashujaa FC.
The match is scheduled for Thursday, May 14, at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in a game that is anticipated to be highly competitive.
Head coach Steve Barker has decided that the team will complete their final preparations in Dar es Salaam before travelling to Kigoma.
However, the Reds of Msimbazi are also set to hold their final training session at Lake Tanganyika Stadium on Wednesday as they fine-tune their preparations.
Mashujaa FC have historically made it difficult for Simba whenever the two sides meet at Lake Tanganyika Stadium, often producing tightly contested matches.
Despite that record, Simba are determined this season to go to Kigoma, get the job done early, and return to Dar es Salaam with all three points.
