Simba’s Head of Information and Communications, Ahmed Ali, has stated that the team is travelling to Kigoma with only one objective — securing all three points against Mashujaa FC.
On Thursday, May 14, Simba will face Mashujaa FC at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in a match expected to be highly competitive.
“We are not going to Kigoma for sightseeing; we want three points against Mashujaa FC. We respect Mashujaa because they are a good team coached by a highly experienced manager.”
“We understand it will be a difficult match, but we are fully prepared to win. I urge all Simba branches in Kigoma to begin preparations ahead of this match.”
“This time we want to secure victory early. We do not want the kind of pressure we experienced last season when we had to wait until the final minutes to win,” said Ahmed.
Simba’s squad is expected to travel to Kigoma today, where coach Steve Barker and his players will complete their final preparations before the match.
