It is reported that Simba SC has started efforts to sign striker Henoc Molia, who currently plays for FC Lupopo in DR Congo.
Molia has impressed in the DR Congo Premier League this season, scoring 13 goals and providing 9 assists. He is capable of playing as a central striker or as a winger on either the right or left side.
The attacker joined FC Lupopo last season from AC Rangers and has reportedly shown willingness to leave the club in search of a new challenge outside Congo.
Simba is expected to strengthen its attacking department, where currently Suleiman Mwalimu is the only dependable option in that role.
In recent matches, Simba head coach Steve Barker has been forced to start games without a natural striker.
Mwalimu is currently on loan and could return to his parent club Wydad if Simba and Wydad fail to reach an agreement over extending his stay.
Meanwhile, Ghanaian forward Jonathan Sowah appears to be awaiting an official farewell, as he has reportedly refused to train despite being instructed to work with the youth team.
