Simba defender and assistant captain Rushine De Reuck has said the squad is fully ready for the Premier League match against Yanga scheduled for tomorrow Sunday, May 03 at Isamuhyo Stadium.
Rushine said the team has prepared thoroughly and understands their opponents’ tactics as well as the system they are likely to use in the match.
Despite acknowledging the difficulty of the encounter, the Muungano Cup standout said the squad is confident of achieving a positive result as their main goal is to stay in the title race.
"It will not be an easy match, but we are prepared. We are ready to fight for the full 90 minutes to make sure we give our fans happiness," said Rushine.
Simba are determined to win the match in order to reduce the points gap between them and their rivals from five to two.
A victory would also highlight Simba’s strength this season and add excitement to the Muungano Cup title celebrations.
Simba’s Head of Communications Ahmed Ali said the club has temporarily paused celebrations to focus on securing all three points on Sunday.
