Simba’s Head of Information and Communications, Ahmed Ali, has said the team has had strong preparations ahead of their Premier League match against Coastal Union, scheduled for Thursday at Meja Jenerali Isamuhyo Stadium.
Ahmed noted that the team has had sufficient time to prepare, with the full squad now available following the return of players who were on international duty.
He emphasized that securing three points against Coastal Union is crucial in their pursuit of the league title this season.
"Our preparations for the match against Coastal Union are going well. We returned to training on Friday."
"After our match against TRA United, we gave the players four days off, and then resumed training on Friday."
"We’ve had four good days of preparation, and on Wednesday we will complete our final training session ahead of Thursday’s match."
"Matches against Coastal Union are among the toughest we face in the NBC Premier League. Last season, they played a major role in affecting Simba’s title ambitions. The 2-2 draw they forced on us at KMC Complex was one of the results that caused us to drop points and disrupt our title plans."
