It is clear that by the end of the season, Simba’s management will be forced to make tough decisions regarding their foreign goalkeeper, deciding whether to continue with Djibrill Kassali or recall Moussa Camara, who is steadily regaining fitness.
Although removed from the official registration list, Camara remains a Simba player, continuing to receive his salary and all entitlements that other players enjoy, including bonuses.
Camara has had a good recovery period, with hopes of reclaiming his spot by the end of the season.
Kassali, signed urgently during the minor transfer window, has performed well in his duties.
He has played seven matches, totaling 630 minutes in the NBC Premier League, keeping five clean sheets and conceding only twice.
Simba offered him only a six-month contract, set to expire at the end of the season.
According to the registration rules applied this season, the team is allowed to register only one foreign goalkeeper.
