After a few days of rest, Simba SC are set to return to training today as they begin preparations for upcoming matches in the NBC Premier League and the CRDB Cup.
Head coach Steve Barker had granted the players around four days off following their 3-0 victory over TRA United.
In the first week of April 2026, Simba face two crucial matches where they will be aiming to secure all six points.
On April 2, they will host Coastal Union at Isamuhyo Stadium, before taking on Azam FC in the Mzizima Derby on April 5 at Azam Complex in Chamazi.
The players returning to training today are those who were not called up for international duty.
Simba currently have six players away with their national teams: Djibrill Kasalli, Naby Camara, Suleiman Mwalimu, Morice Abraham, Nickson Kibabage, and Yusuph Kagoma, who did not travel with the Taifa Stars squad for the FIFA Series in Rwanda due to injury.
