Simba left-back Nickson Kibabage has expressed his gratitude to fans for the support that motivates him and boosts his morale to continue fighting for Simba.
Since joining Simba during the mid-season transfer window from Singida BS, Kibabage has become a key player, securing a permanent spot in the first team.
The defender, who has also been called up to the Tanzania national team, Taifa Stars, acknowledged that reaching this level would not have been easy without the love and support from Wanasimba.
"When I joined Simba, there were many discussions and challenges. It was not easy, but I sincerely thank Simba fans for the love they show me," Kibabage said.
"Everything is planned by God, and I ask Wanasimba to continue supporting me and my teammates. We will keep fighting to achieve our goals this season," he added.
In yesterday’s NBC Premier League match against TRA United, Kibabage earned a penalty that was successfully converted by Suleiman Mwalimu after being fouled in the danger area.
Kibabage has been a major asset to Simba’s attack due to his pace, with coach Steve Barker deploying him effectively as a wing-back.
