The Simba squad is expected to travel to Mwanza today in preparation for their Premier League match against Pamba Jiji, which will be played on Thursday, March 19 at CCM Kirumba Stadium.
Simba’s management decided to complete preparations for the match in Dar es Salaam before traveling to Mwanza due to a shortage of quality training grounds in the city.
The Msimbazi Reds have prepared thoroughly to ensure they secure all three points in what is expected to be a highly competitive encounter.
Pamba Jiji has developed a reputation for giving Simba tough matches whenever the two sides meet, although Simba has managed to come out victorious in their recent encounters.
Meanwhile, Simba faces two important matches before heading into the FIFA calendar break, with the league set to pause next week.
After the Pamba Jiji fixture, their next match will be against TRA United, scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
There are also two pending matches to be played against Coastal Union and TRA United. The match against Coastal Union is scheduled for April 2, while the fixture against TRA United is yet to be given a new date by the league board after it failed to take place last Saturday in Arusha.
