The Management and Supervision Committee of the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB), in its meeting held on March 4, 2026, reviewed various developments and incidents in the league and made the following decisions:
The committee has suspended Simba striker Suleiman Mwalimu for three matches following an incident in which he elbowed Dodoma Jiji player And Bikoko when the two teams met in a Premier League match in Dodoma Region.
Mwalimu has also been fined TSh 1 million for the incident.
Simba has also faced additional penalties following its match against Yanga played last Sunday at the New Amaan Complex stadium.
- The club has been fined TSh 5,000,000 after its fans threw water bottles at Dodoma Jiji player William Edgar and first aid personnel (Red Cross).
- The club has been fined TSh 5,000,000 for entering Amaan Stadium (Zanzibar) through an unauthorized entrance.
- The club has received another fine of TSh 5,000,000 for refusing to use the official dressing room and instead using the press conference room.

Both Simba SC and Yanga have each been fined TSh 5,000,000 after their security guards fought and exchanged abusive language when Simba arrived at the stadium.
- Simba will also be required to pay for repairs to the door of the press conference room that was broken by their security guards.
- Player David Kameta has been fined TSh 1 million for incidents involving pouring liquids onto the pitch.
Additionally, assistant referee Kassim Mpanga, who disallowed a Simba goal, has been suspended for six months for failing to properly interpret the laws of football.
