Simba’s Information and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, has stated that the team’s objective is to collect six points during their stay in Dodoma.
Ahmed noted that they have already secured three points against Tanzania Prisons and are now focused on earning another three against Dodoma Jiji.
On Wednesday, February 25, Dodoma Jiji will host Simba in a Premier League fixture at Jamhuri Stadium.
Ahmed acknowledged that the upcoming match will be tougher than the previous one but emphasized that the team is determined to win.
“If you think Prisons are tough, then know that Dodoma Jiji are even tougher. We expect it will not be an easy match.”
“Dodoma Jiji have never been easy whenever they face Simba. This season they also have a good team.”
“In the last three consecutive seasons, we have only beaten them by a single goal here. That shows how difficult they are. But despite that, our goal is to leave with six points from here, and we are not ready for any other result.”
“So despite their toughness, we will force them to give us the three points,” Ahmed said.
After their win over Prisons, the Msimbazi Reds remained in Dodoma and will complete their final training session today ahead of the clash against Dodoma Jiji.
