Simba SC have officially confirmed the sale of their attacking midfielder Kibu Denis, who has joined Libyan side Al Nasr Benghazi.
Kibu leaves Msimbazi after serving the club for four seasons, having joined Simba in the 2021/22 campaign from Mbeya City.
During his time with the team, he was among the key contributors in the attacking department.
Capable of playing as a winger or forward, Kibu cemented his place in Simba’s starting lineup under different coaches. He was widely recognized for his pace and work rate on the pitch.
Over his four-year spell, Kibu played a significant role in Simba’s success in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League and particularly in international competitions, including the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup. He scored crucial goals both home and away and often carried the team during difficult moments.
His move to Al Nasr Benghazi marks a new chapter in his football journey, as he takes on a fresh challenge in the Libyan Premier League.
The transfer is also seen as an opportunity for the Tanzanian international to broaden his competitive experience outside the country.
All the best, KIBU DENIS “Mkandaji.”
