Simba’s Information and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, has said that despite slim hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals, the club is determined to win the remaining two matches in order to finish the group stage with dignity.
Simba’s squad is currently in Angola, where they will face Petro Atletico tomorrow, Saturday. Should Simba secure a win, they would move to four points and put themselves in a good position to climb to at least third place, provided they also win their final group match against Stade Malien, scheduled to be played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on February 13.

The match against Petro Atletico will be played on Saturday at 1:00 am Tanzania time. The game will also serve as a chance for revenge for Simba after losing the first meeting between the two sides in Dar es Salaam.
